How to Use the Microclimate Research Platform
Welcome! This platform helps you explore and download weather data in real-time or historically from different sensor channels used in your projects. Follow the steps below to get started.
π Choose a Date Range
Use the date picker to select a time range. This filters the data to only show information from the time period you're interested in.
π‘ Select Sensor Channels
Youβll see a list of available sensor channels. Each channel shows:
- Name β What the sensor measures (like temperature or humidity)
- Status β Whether the sensor is online (π’), offline (π΄), or part of a completed project (βͺ)
- Last Updated β The last time data was recorded from that sensor
Check the boxes next to the sensor channels you want to include in your graph or CSV download.
π Visualize Data
Click Visualize Data to see interactive graphs for each selected parameter. The graph legend will show which sensor each line represents.
π₯ Download CSV
Click Download CSV to save the filtered data in spreadsheet format. You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any program that works with CSV files.
πΌ Download a PNG Image
Click the camera icon π· in the top-right corner of each graph to save it as a PNG file.
π‘ Tips
- If no data appears, make sure the sensor was active during your selected time range.
- Use the βReturn to topβ links to quickly navigate between graphs.
